Let's say that you are a recording musician and live in an area where there are not a lot of steel guitarists (or any!) Yet you really want "that sound" on your recording project! Thanks to advances in recording technology and the ubiquity of the Internet, it is possible for me to create a Custom Steel Guitar Track for you!
The basics: you send me an MP3 of a rough mix of the piece you'd like Steel Guitar on. I then record a steel track for that piece (using my decades of playing and recording experience and professional equipment) and return a rough low resolution MP3 mix of your original track with my addition for your approval, comments, or directions. Once you are satisfied with the rough low rez mix, you then PayPal me our agreed upon fee (contact me at the link below for pricing information) and I then send you the download link (or a CD-R) of a Hi-Resolution (24bit or higher) .wav or .aiff file that you can then import into your recording project.
I can record as "dry" as you wish so that you may add your own FX and EQ, or I can add a wide range of reverb, delay, or FX... I will play as much or as little as you wish. If you only want a few fills, or if you want "stream of consciousness" riffing throughout the piece, it's your call.
