Originally this finish was GREEN! Apparently the green dyes they used in the lacquer back then were photosensitive...

I LOVE the tailfins! The little dark marks in the blonde maple are cigarette burns that were poorly repaired by a previous owner...Greg couldn't do much about them without a complete refinish, which I didn't want... Gives it a little Honky-Tonk Authenticity I guess.
